Revolution for Economic Democracy.

The so called golden era of capitalism is over. The turmoil situation of today started since late 1970s.Unemplyment soared.Neoliberalism advocated for reduction in the role of government in economic affairs of the countries. It should concern itself largely, external affairs, maintaining internal lawand order, and providing infrastructural facilities like roads, and looking after education, health care and so on.The rest of the things should be left on market. Let them decied what to produce, how to produce, and for whom to produce?Market runs on the theory of demand and supply and its main object is profit. The quantum of profit will decied that what goods and services need to be produced. It was said that government and some other forces did not interfere, market would bring in a state of equlibrium and there would be no ups and downs, there would be no crisis. But the theory failed completly and the world is insearch of new idology.

Save the river Ganga.

"The Ganga especially is the river of India's age long culture and civilization, ever changing, ever flowing, and yet ever the same Ganga." Jawahar lal Nehru.said.
The Ganga is both goddess and river. This river has been referred to as mother. The name of Ganga appears twice in the rigveda. We find references to the Ganga in the Valmiki ramayan, theBrahmanda purana, the Devi Bhagavatam and the Mahabharta.
The Ganga is also called Alakhananda (from the locks of Shiva),Devabhuti (heavenly), Gandini (evershining), Harashekhara (Shiva's crest), Jahnvi (from Jahnu), Kumarsu (mother of Kartikey), Mandakini (gently flowing) and Tripathga (flowing throu the three worlds of heaven, earth, and hell.
If the Himalayas are supreme among mountains and Kashi is supreme among holicities, the Ganga is supreme among rivers.
The river that is considered holy by millions, shoud be givenheritage status.Polluting the river Ganga shoud be consider as punishable crime.
How the Ganga was brought down to earth is told in the story of Bhagiratha, who obtained permission from the gods for the river to descend to earth so that the sacred water might washover the ashes of the sons of his ancestor, sagar. The Ganga camedown but Shiva absorbed the force of the mighty to rrent by letting it flow throu his hair. From the head of Shiva it flowed down as the saptasindhva or the seven sacred rivers.
Pureity of Ganga is not possible only by government, it is our moral responsiblty to save the holy river.
